That is definitely an interesting parallel you draw. It is an unexpected one, but it is actually sort of staggering in the way that it just... prefigures some of the rise of neofascist movements' popularity today. Even the conservatives who are not in favor of that kind of thing are refusing to police that kind of venom within their own party, trying to leverage it as a different but energetic voting bloc, which is extremely dangerous, but strength in numbers is worth more than integrity?

That certainly does sound interesting. I have several complex chapter WIPs I haven't been able to work on lately, but if you have one that is interesting to you, you should totally go for it!
