Wow that icon makes me feel eight years old. Which was above the demographic for that show, but I liked it anyway.

I was a grown adult the first time I ever saw Bear in the Big Blue House (visiting a friend who had kids) and I still thought it was adorable. Also Bear was oddly familiar in a way that made me think back to my own childhood so I had to stare at the show while trying to figure it out and it finally dawned on me that the puppet operates on the same principle as Big Bird so the body language is very similar.
