She just launched some content on her ko-fi page as well!
My friend has been completing kimono school in Japan at a great cost to her financial well-being during this COVID-wracked year. She has done so because she really wants to be able to spread knowledge of this art to Japanese diaspora when she returns to the United States later this year. She is a quarter-Japanese, and because she is white-passing she experiences a lot of "but you're not really Japanese enough," discrimination, but she has pressed through, and she is very well-educated across many aspects of the culture.
I would really like to see her not get discouraged, so if you wanted to give her one-time support or to subscribe to her efforts, I would really appreciate it. I'm sure she will too!
