Thanks. I got here safe, and I do feel bodily healthier over here, especially after the effects of sitting almost entirely still for 13 hours wore off. I HATE long plane travel I've decided. I actually enjoy being at airports. I enjoy the spirit of travel. But that sitting still for that long is so obviously physically bad for a body that I just... hate it. I wish it had been an option to take a page from that little Gretchen girl's book and take a boat, honestly. I would've been terrified the entire time, as I cannot swim, but at least I would've been able to move and pee. Not to mention the relative difference in environmental impact. The speed of planes is great. But long distance travel in them is so, so shitty.

If anything it sounds like I might feel like I have fewer connections in day to day life (recent post explains) but I do at least feel like I have a handle on what's going on. I kind of suspect that this will be my last semester doing this, at least for a long time, but not in an angry way (at least at this point lol). But that was sorta the plan anyway. Maybe this is just God's way of making letting go easier.
