Regarding the creation of the earth and macro-evolution (micro-evolution I have no question about whatsoever), I tend to fall on the side of believing that the universe was created with apparent age and that, perhaps, transition from one species to another one entirely may not be a thing, but if it was then I don't have a major crisis of faith over it. That said, even my stance on this while being a little more in-line with church-typical beliefs is too liberal for some people, and that's exhausting.

On the thing about memory: I started watching The Expanse Season 2 again today, and wow I remember almost nothing even though I was obsessed with this last year.
